1. Have Fun. I've heard of women getting hit by men, and guns drawn. We don't need that.
2. 10 Cups, 2 balls, two man teams, one throw per man.
a. rack is 4-3-2-1 triangle. a line should be drawn to determine where to stand while shooting.
b. cup is dead once it has been made. if 2 balls are made in one cup, the second shot will be re-thrown.
c. ball is dead once a team has possession of the ball.
d. rock paper scissor determines who shoots first.
e. beer must be drank before a player can shoot.
f. a shot out of turn will only count if not made, if the shot out of turn is made, its a re-throw.
g. a cup that falls on the ground will count, regardless of how it gets to the ground: if a cup is falling off the table and the ball is NOT in the cup and a player from the non-shooting team grabs the cup before it hits the ground, the cup that is saved is still in play..
h. a ball that is made via bouncing back into the shooting teams rack will count as one.
i. a blocked ball will count as a cup for the blocking team.
j. Balls may not be interfered with while inside of a cup. I.e., no fingering/blowing
3. Bring Back- 2 clean makes in the same round will count as the team receiving another 2 shots.
a. a bounce and a clean make will be 3 cups and the balls back
b. 2 bounce ins will be 4 cups and the balls back
4. 2 racks at any time in any way. rack must stay inside of original 4-3-2-1 triangle.
a. no mid-turn rack re-racks.
b. players are permitted a touch-up after each shot, if for instance a cup floats away from the rack, the cup may be placed back into its proper position.
5. NBA Jam rule- If a player A makes three cups in a row without the opposing team making a cup, player A gets to shoot until he misses, even if these 3 throws are not in consecutive rounds.
6. OVERTHROW(men only)- Player shoots without hitting any of the playing surface will take one of their own cups of their choice.
a. this rule is not in effect when the team shooting has 3 or less cups.
b. double overthrow in the same round is 2 cups. 1 cup is taken if the shooting team has 3 or less cups.
c. if the shooting team has 1 cup left, this rule and the double overthrow rule are no longer in effect
7. If a ball is bounced in, it will count as 2 cups.
a. a bounced ball can be blocked with no penalty of blocking.
8. Gentle(wo)mans throw- if a ball comes back to the shooting team without hitting the ground, that team will get to take a behind-the-back shot.
a. if the behind-the-back shot is made, that will count as one cup.
b. the bounce rule is not in effect for gentle mans throw.
c. overthrow is not in effect for a gentle mans throw.
9. Distractions are acceptable outside of the playing surface. No shadow master or spirit fingers.
10. Lonely Wolf- if a cup is not touching any of the other cups in play. Player must howl to indicate he is taking a lone wolf shot.
a. if the cup is made it is 2 cups.
b. if another cup is made, nothing happens.
c. if no cup is made, the shooting player must drink a beer of his choice on his side.
11. Always rebuttal.
a.rebuttal- after ten cups are hit, the opposing team gets to shoot until they miss to try to tie the game.
b. If one team makes all 10 cups before the other team make any cups, there is NO REBUTTAL and gets made fun of the rest of the night.
12. Overtime is 3 cups, one beer.
a. 2-1 rack, no re-rack.
b. triple overtime is one beer, one cup.
Amendment to a few rules:
